Join us for our Link Officers’ Annual Meeting (LOAM). This popular annual event is a unique opportunity for Partners across the national adult network to share best practice, discuss emerging sector issues and to learn from one another.
This year’s LOAM will look very different from previous years. It will be delivered online over two days and will focus on 'Virtually everything – sharing our learning so far' reflecting the fact that the way we do virtually everything has been adapted to include digital or virtual aspects.
The event will be engaging, interactive and varied, with breaks and time for informal networking too. The programme will be flexible, share learning from experiences in response to COVID-19 so far, and explore opportunities for virtual:
- support for teams.
The event will also introduce proposed topics for the Delivery Programme for 2021-22, as voted for by the Partner network. The topic consultation for 2021-22 will be launched soon. Link Officers are encouraged to contribute to the topic consultation and to encourage colleagues across their organisations to feed into the consultation too.
To inform the development of the programme we are seeking examples of:
- Feedback from people with lived experience of receiving support and services virtually – this can be through email, recording, written – however people would like to provide feedback.
- What your organisation has done to support individuals and teams virtually during the pandemic.
Please send any examples to firstname.lastname@example.org.
To be confirmed shortly.
Link Officers, CPD coordinators, Senior practitioners, Workforce development teams.
Link Officers are the lynchpin between Research in Practice and a Partner organisation. They focus on embedding learning and development within their organisation and championing evidence-informed practice.
LOAM will virtually bring Link Officers from across the national Research in Practice network together and provide a unique opportunity for Partners to share best practice, discuss emerging sector issues and to learn from one another. Attendance is included in full and reduced adult organisational membership to Research in Practice.
In recognition of Link Officers’ efforts to support learning and development and championing evidence-informed practice, we will also be presenting the annual Link Officer Awards during LOAM. More information on how to vote will follow.
For queries and information please contact our events team by emailing email@example.com
Please note adding this event to your calendar does not confirm your place at this event. Details of how to access the event will be sent a week before only to those with a confirmed place.
