Poverty, austerity and mental health are closely connected, both for the general population and for adults with care and support needs.

An upcoming webinar, led by Dr Ian Cummins and Dr Godfred Boahen, will present findings from research exploring the use of the Mental Health Act in relation to socioeconomic status. It will then consider practice implications and responses, including anti-poverty approaches in adult social care.
