The Evidence Review brought people with diverse lived experiences of social care together to discuss five key changes needed to unlock an equal life:

  • Introduce the key changes and associated themes.
  • Centre lived‑experience perspectives and reflect on relevant research evidence.
  •  Highlight co‑production principles and the social model of disability.
  • Provide space to consider how you and your organisation can contribute to these changes.

  • Examine the key change Sharing power as equals, focusing on how power can be shared with people to improve their care and support.
