Sections

This resource encourages practitioners to think about supporting people’s expression of intimacy and sexuality when they draw on care services in later life. It builds upon learning from the evidence review Ageing Well: Sex, Intimacy and Relationships in Later Life. The practice tool supports personal reflection on values, beliefs and expectations around intimacy and sexuality in older age. It explores practice considerations around inclusivity, complexity, ethics and mental capacity.
