Develop your knowledge of learning theory, support online facilitation skills and discuss how to develop your own bespoke sessions. A new ‘Learn and deliver’ programme is designed to support individuals providing learning and development in organisations.

The series of ‘Learn and deliver’ events will give learning and development colleagues the tools, knowledge and confidence to deliver sessions based on Research in Practice resources.

Who is it for

Designed for individuals from the Research in Practice Partner network in learning and development teams who are responsible for supporting learning and delivering sessions in their organisations.

How does it work

There are two types of events:

Learning theory

Designed to offer a range of general online facilitation and learning skills, this programme of two-hour sessions will focus on:

  • Mobilising learning theory in practice.
  • What we mean by ‘learning’ and why digital learning is not an optional extra.
  • Growing your online facilitation skills.
  • Developing a learning culture: what next?

Deliver it yourself

Designed to provide guidance to learning and development staff about how to independently develop their own sessions, these two-hour events will use Research in Practice materials, resources and activities.

During these sessions, participants will discuss learning outcomes, tools, exercises, research, materials and activities. Resources and references will also be provided.

Book your place

Learning and development leads can book directly via the Research in Practice website. You will need to login to your Research in Practice account.

More information about the latest sessions can be found on the dedicated 'Learn and deliver' page.
