Designed specifically for frontline practitioners, this open access webinar will share findings from a National Institute for Health and Care Research School for Social Care study on adult social workers and parents with learning disabilities. The study worked with five local authorities.

The webinar will explore:

  • How do adult services engage with parents with learning disabilities?
  • How are parents accessing support under the Care Act?
  • What are the challenges and barriers experienced when working with these parents?
  • What good practice is taking place and what can we learn from this?
