Delivered online using Teams

RIP_General_Time

10:00 - 12:00 Tuesday, 10 November 2026

Within Families First, the Children’s Social Care National Framework and Working Together 2026 there is a welcome refocus on the reunification of children and young people with their families after a period of local authority care. Join us to consider evidence and practice on how to develop systems that support safe, stable and sustainable reunification outcomes.

This interactive webinar will explore the key principles and recommendations from the Reunification Practice Guide developed by Foundations, engage with the voices of experience that NCB listened to in developing the evidence review underpinning the Guide, and hear from a practice leader bringing learning from working with parents following removal of a child, highlighting how this can strengthen reunification support and services.

This session is designed for Practice Leaders who are responsible for supporting and developing high-quality reunification practice in local multi-agency Family Help, child protection, safeguarding, children in care and leaving care teams.
