This briefing outlines research findings and practice messages relating to two forms of domestic violence instigated by young people:
- Interpersonal violence and abuse in adolescent relationships.
- Adolescent to parent violence and abuse, including violence towards carers. It includes discussion of risk and protective factors, theoretical understandings, and evidence of help-seeking, safety planning and prevention, with onward links to a wide range of practice briefings and tools.
